Jeanette moved to Mousehole after a whirlwind romance and marriage to a local Merchant Navy Officer in 1980.After accompanying her husband on 27 crossings of the North Atlantic aboard a Container Ship, they settled to life ashore.

Now somewhat a recluse, she quietly beavers away in her studio nestled into the hillside overlooking the village & Mounts Bay, taking inspiration from her garden and the ever changing moods of village life, from Christmas lights to lazy summer evenings.

Having painted from an early age, her potential was shown when, aged 10, she won a National Painting Competition staged by P.G. Tips tea !!

Self taught in a range of mediums and styles, she has successfully exhibited works in various galleries, art shows and fairs throughout England including the Wren Gallery, Burford for over 7 years and of late continuously showing exclusively at the Mowzer Gallery for the past 4 years , selling cards, prints, original art work and commissioned pieces both nationally and internationally.
